Universities in Romania
Romania has 49 public and eight private universities. Undergraduate courses in Science, Humanities, Society and Economics, Law, Political Science, Fine Arts, and Sports last for three years; four years for technical science, engineering, agriculture, and forestry; and six years for general medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and architecture. Postgraduate courses last for two years. Higher education institutions in Romania consist of universities, institutes, academies, conservatories, and university colleges.
