    • Pharma City in Hyderabad aspires to create an integrated pharma manufacturing ecosystem that includes the following essential components:
          • NIMZ Manufacturing Units
          • Pharma University
          • Research Development Centre
          • Township for living.
  • Hyderabad Pharma City
    • Most of the HPC land will be used for pharmaceutical manufacturing. While the remaining land of the Pharma City, will be developed for a pharmaceutical university, a pharmaceutical RD and ancillary hub, and a pharmaceutical city township with all associated social and physical infrastructure.

CONNECTIVITY OF PHARMA CITY

  • The Hyderabad Pharma City (HPC) can be reached through the Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar highways. The site is located on the Kandukur-Yacharam Road, which runs between Kandukur and Yacharam and connects two highways. Pharma city is not only connected to Highways but also connected to Outer Ring Road (ORR). Aside from the mentioned highways, additional village roads link to the HPC.

Hyderabad Pharma city Map

  • The following four roadway lines have been proposed for the HPC site, which would travel through a variety of land uses to provide a homogeneous flow of traffic internally.
    • 1st Corridor : Spandana (approx length:13.2 Km)
    • 2nd Corridor: Eastern Freeway (approx length:12.8 Km)
    • 3rd Corridor: Southern Freeway (approx length: 9.8 Km)
    • 4th Corridor: Northern Freeway (approx length: 7.1 Km)
  • Regional Ring Road will also be connected to Hyderabad pharma City.
  • A Light Rail Transit (LRT) system is also being considered as a way to improve public transit inside the HPC and meet future demands. A rail spur line from the southern side of HPC to Shadnagar railway station, which is 48 kilometers away, is also envisaged. The proposed rail spur line will connect to the proposed Timmapur freight terminal as well as the projected Jadcherla dry port.

THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF PHARMA CITY

The following infrastructure facilities are to be developed in the proposed Pharma City.

  • Approach roads, internal roads and rail linkages
  • Power supply and street lighting
  • Water Supply
  • Common Facilities such as banks, post offices, hospitals, schools and shopping complexes.
  • Exchange and dispensaries etc.
  • Power substation
  • Health Care facilities
  • Housing Facilities
  • Parks and Library for recreation
  • Security Services
  • Well developed plots
  • Steam linkages
  • Freshwater, Recycled Water and Wastewater conveyance
  • Exclusive zone for SMEs
  • Logistic hub with container terminal

POLLUTION CONTROL IN MUCHERLA PHARMA CITY

When it comes to the Pharmaceutical Industry, the major problem that comes to our mind is its pollution, odour and its wastage. This type of pollution can harm neighbors. To overcome this, the Telangana Government did research and visited many pharmaceutical industries in Singapore and China. And Analysed their policies and process. Now they are going to implement such systems, which will overcome the above-stated problems. Here we discuss some of them below.

Pollution Controlling Process

Pollutiion control in hyderabad pharma city

  • The Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) method will be used in this pharma city. That means there is no liquid waste discharge to neighbouring areas or lakes and canals.
  • ZLD plant should be constructed on 1100 acres with a budget of rupees 3500 crores.
  • Telangana State Government is constructing CETP (Common Effluent Treatment Plant), which can collect industrial liquid waste of pharma city and remove toxic and non-toxic materials from water and make it useful for various purposes.
  • Industry can pay for how much they are discharging to CETP. This will reduce the burden of industries.
  • STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) will also be constructed to remove the contaminants from household discharged water.
  • There will be Solid Waste Management plants including Hazardous waste management in HPC.
  • Green Belts for odour management and pollution control.

ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT CELL

HPC consists of an Environmental and Quality management cell, which controls and keeps an eye on various things in HPC. They are

  • Quality Certification Lab.
  • Material Testing Lab.
  • Integrated Township with Housing and allied Social Infrastructure.
  • Ease of traffic moment and disaster management.
  • Cycle tracks alongside the roads.

PHASE-I OF THE PHARMA CITY

  • The state government of Telangana plans to implement the Pharma City phase-wise.
  • In the first phase of Pharma city, the Government will develop the land of 9,212 Acres.
  • More than 400 companies will get land in the first phase.
  • Roads, power supply and water supplies will be completed in the first phase.
  • Pollution control system and waste management works will be completed in the first phase.

PHARMA CITY HYDERABAD STATUS

  • Pharma city Hyderabad progress is going well.  As per the planning of the first phase of HPC, 6179 of 9212 Acres of land will be used for roads, Current and Drainage purposes, which is almost completed.
  • The Pollution Control System works are to be completed.
  • As per the planning waste management system with a budget of rupees 2000 Cr In 4922 Acre of land is almost completed.
  • Telangana Minister K.T. Ramamrao, Stated that Hyderabad Pharma City will start at the end of this year.
  • As per the pharma city Hyderabad latest news, more than 200 companies applied for land allocation to TSIIC. In this 150 companies got land in HPC.
  • Land will be allocated from 0.5 acres to 10 acres according to the Requirement of the companies.
  • 16 MNC companies got lands in pharma city, their names are mentioned below as per sources.

Companies in Hyderabad Pharma city

FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS AROUND PHARMA CITY TELANGANA

  • Hyderabad Pharma City will become the world’s pharma hub, as a result, small and medium pharma industries will arise.
  • Therefore, employment opportunities will increase. Especially rural employment.
  • Recently Amazon announced that they will establish three data centers with an estimated budget of rupees 11,500 Crs. in this one data center will be at Meerkhanpet, where the pharma city was proposed.
  • Due to this data center, small and medium scale industries like IT centers will be established.
  • As Pharma City competes with global industries, having world-class MNC companies in it, then transportation of both national and international will play a key role.
  • Keeping this in mind, RGIA (Rajiv Gandhi International Airport) will construct a separate cargo terminal (Pharma Cargo Terminal) for Hyderabad pharma city.
  • Because of this cargo terminal,  importing and exporting will become easy, as HPC is 20 km away from RGIA.
  • One railway line is announced to pharma city from the nearest Railway station Shadnagar.

EFFECT OF PHARMA CITY ON REAL ESTATE

  • Pharma City will make a tremendous change in the real estate market.
  • HPC will boost the real estate market around Srisailam Highway and Sagar highway.
  • Above stated developments need a huge amount of land. So, the land value in this area will increase rapidly.
  • There are so many road connections for pharma city, which will be an asset for the real estate market.
  • HPC will take the real estate market to the next level in the south side of Hyderabad.

BEST PLACE TO INVEST NEAR PHARMA CITY HYDERABAD

  • Areas in between HPC and ORR are the best places to invest, as they will get appraisals very soon.
  • Areas in between both Srisailam Highway and Sagar highways are also one good option. We have our venture Amogh on Srisailam Highway.
  • Connecting road of Kandukur- Yacharam which passes through HPC is one of the best places to invest.
  • In the same way, the connecting road of HPC to ORR Exit number 13 near Raviryal, which passes through Lemoor, Rachaloor and Meerkhanpet is the best option. We have our venture Advaith at Lemoor, have a look at this.
  • Areas around RGIA are a better option to invest. We have our ventures Kingsdell and KingsMarque at Tukkuguda.
  • The Connecting Road of HPC – Sagar Highway is also a good option to invest.
