The Caribana festival was started in 1967 to celebrate carnival arts and promote the social and economic position of Caribbeans in Toronto. The Caribana 2022 was a three-week celebration of Caribbean music, culture, cuisines, costumes, traditions, and much more.  

When is the Next Toronto Caribana Carnival?

The official weekend of the Caribana carnival is when most of the main events go down. The 2023 Caribana is due to take place from Thursday, August 3, until Monday, August 7, 2023. The Grand Parade is expected to take place on Saturday, August 1, starting from Exhibition Palace and ending at Lakeshore Boulevard. Moreover, this weekend coincides with the Canadian public holiday, which means Torontonians now have a reason and time to party.
