The speed of charging is usually measured in terms of how long it takes to charge a battery or device from empty to full, or from a certain percentage to another percentage. For example, a fast charger may be able to charge an iPhone from 0% to 50% in 30 minutes, while a slow charger may take 90 minutes to do the same. Alternatively, the speed of charging can be measured in terms of how much power is delivered to a battery or device per unit time. For example, a fast charger may deliver 18 watts (W) of power to an iPhone, while a slow charger may deliver only 5 W.
