The Kuban State Medical University was founded in 1920 by the order of the government of russian federation. It is the oldest university in the state of Kuban and also one of the top-ranked medical university in Russia.The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation manages the authority of the college.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Kuban State Medical University:
Must have passed 10th and 12th from a recognized educational board/institute
A student should have secured at least 50% marks in 12th standard while studying Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or any equivalent subject).
Student must be under 17 years of age
Student must clear NEET-UG exam with required marks.
50th percentile is 50 percent for general/EWS category students.
45 percent for differently abled students
40th percentile for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category
Students must have a valid NEET score card.
