1. Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary

One of the oldest sanctuaries in India, the Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary will captivate you and leave you in awe with its towering trees, enormous canopies, and lush greenery surrounding you on all sides. The Murti River divides the Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary from the rest of the Gorumara National Park. It is located on the northern edge of the park, about 80 kilometres from Siliguri and 20 kilometres from Chalsa. The Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary is smaller than other sanctuaries in India. However, a number of animals and birds are residing in the sanctuary and looking for safety there.
