Toronto’s Caribbean carnival returns with a three-week celebration of the island’s cultures, customs, costumes, music, and traditions.

Held annually every Summer in Toronto, the carnival is the largest cultural gathering in North America and hosts millions of tourists from around the globe. It’s an incredible display of visual performances and arts as masqueraders and steelpan bands revel in the streets of Toronto. While the Grand Parade is obviously the main attraction, there are plenty of other daytime and nightlife events that you can take part in.

The Toronto Caribana 2023

The Toronto Caribana Carnival’s official weekend is when most of the events will take place. The 2023 Caribana will be held from Thursday, August 3 to Monday, August 7, 2023. As always, the Grand Parade will take place on Saturday, August 5, 2023.

You can watch the Grand Parade at Exhibition Place and Lakeshore Boulevard from 10 AM to 6 PM. A mini parade will also take place with impromptu dancing before the main parade at 6 AM on the same day.

The weekend coincides with the Canadian National Holiday, so locals and tourists alike can enjoy the brim.
